Heavy use of Buzz throughout, both for beats and synths and for extremely elaborate effects chains for the guitar parts.
Three of the songs on here, Way, The Red Deeps and Don't Mean A Thing, were actually written before all of the other recorded w/trem material. Way is older than just about anything else. The guitar part is the only thing about it I really like.
In case it isn't obvious, Schoolgirl Heroine is a Belle and Sebastian mickey-take. I don't really have a thing about schoolgirls. No more than is normal, anyway.
